Facial Fillers

Lip and face fillers are a popular cosmetic treatment designed to enhance facial features by adding volume and contour to the lips and areas of the face such as the cheeks and jawline. These fillers are typically made from hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body, or other biocompatible materials.

The Procedure

Before the Filler Procedure:

Before getting lip or face filler, we will have a consultation before your treatment. Aesthetic Nurse Holly will examine your facial anatomy and recommend a personalized treatment plan based on your specific needs and aesthetic goals!

During the Filler Procedure:

On the day of the procedure,  we will  apply a topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort. Some fillers also contain a local anesthetic to enhance the overall comfort during the injection process.

After the Filler Procedure:

Following the filler injection, you may experience mild swelling, redness, and potential bruising at the injection sites. These side effects are typically temporary and should subside within a few days. To alleviate any discomfort, you can apply ice packs or take over-the-counter pain relievers as recommended by your provider.

It's important to follow the post-procedure care instructions provided. This may include avoiding vigorous physical activity, direct sun exposure, and certain medications to ensure optimal healing and reduce the risk of complications.

In the days and weeks after the filler procedure, you will gradually begin to see the full results as any initial swelling subsides. Your lips will appear plumper, and your facial contours will be more defined, resulting in a natural and rejuvenated appearance.

Expected Results:

The results of lip and face fillers are visible immediately after the treatment, with optimal outcomes becoming evident as any initial swelling dissipates. You can expect enhanced volume and definition in the treated areas, which can create a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. The duration of the results varies depending on the specific filler used, the treated area, and individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle.

Hyaluronic acid fillers typically provide results that last anywhere from six months to a year, after which follow-up treatments may be necessary to maintain the desired effects. Some people may experience longer-lasting results with subsequent treatments, as the body tends to build collagen around the filler, prolonging its effects over time.
Lip  and face fillers are versatile and effective treatments that can achieve natural-looking enhancements to the lips and facial contours. Schedule an appointment with Nurse Holly to achieve your aesthetic dreams!
